Interesting facts about tea


Did you know that the first cup of tea was drunk by accident? According to Chinese mythology, in 2737 BC Chinese Emperor Shen Nung was sitting under a tree while his servant handed him the hot water. A few leaves from a tree fell into the water, and the emperor decided to drink. The tree was a wild plant known as Chinese camellia (Camellia sinensis).
 
Today, people are happy to drink black, green, white and other types of tea from all over the world, but not everyone understands the difference between them.

White tea has the light taste and the least processed. According to some studies, white tea green tea is effective in fighting bacteria and can inhibit the growth of staphylococcal and streptococcal infections. White tea is good both hot and cold.
